The RESOLVE Leadership Standard
The RESOLVE Standard defines five leadership disciplines required to sustain organisational performance and integrity when pressure tests judgement. It calls on leaders to align their behaviour with their declared priorities, confront reality with disciplined candour, maintain commitment to enterprise purpose despite adversity, make timely decisions in the presence of uncertainty, and place the interests of the enterprise above personal, functional or political interests. Practised together, these disciplines create leadership capable of preserving clarity, accountability and strategic consistency in the most demanding circumstances.
The Five RESOLVE Disciplines
Behavioural Integrity Leaders ensure their decisions, conduct, incentives and resource allocation consistently reflect their declared priorities and standards.
Relentless Honesty with Reality Leaders surface and act upon material truth about performance, risk and behaviour without distortion, delay or silence.
Anchored Conviction Leaders maintain disciplined commitment to enterprise purpose and strategic direction under pressure, while remaining open to material evidence that may justify conscious evolution.
Velocity of Decision Leaders make and own decisions within appropriate governance timeframes using the best material evidence available, resisting both reckless urgency and unnecessary delay.
Enterprise-First Accountability Leaders place the interests of the enterprise above personal, functional or political interests and assume shared responsibility for organisational outcomes.
Commitment
By adopting the RESOLVE Leadership Standard, we commit to upholding these five disciplines in our leadership behaviour, decision-making and governance practices. We recognise that pressure tests judgement, and we accept responsibility for maintaining clarity, integrity and accountability when those pressures arise.
This commitment reflects our belief that disciplined leadership behaviour is essential to sustaining organisational performance, trust and long-term success.
