The Charter Adoption Path
The RESOLVE Leadership Charter is the formal commitment instrument. Read it, download it, sign it, and display it. Then, if you want support embedding what it commits to, the help is on resolvetolead.com.
Read the Charter
The full text of the RESOLVE Leadership Charter is open, with no gate and no friction. Read it first. It names the five disciplines and states the commitment plainly. If it describes the standard your organisation wants to be held to, proceed.

Before formally committing, it is worth checking whether the structural and cultural pre-conditions are in place. The Pre-Conditions Checklist is a one-page self-assessment for leadership teams. Work through it together before signing.
You can also use the Organisation Readiness Check online, a scored, interactive version of the same assessment.

The signable PDF is formatted for printing and signing, either as a leadership team or as a formal board or committee commitment. The signed document becomes the organisation's record of commitment to the RESOLVE Standard.
Signing should be deliberate. It is not a marketing exercise. The disciplines named in the Charter make specific demands on leadership behaviour, particularly under pressure.

Once signed, the Charter is most effective when visible. Post it physically in leadership spaces, and in digital equivalents such as leadership team pages, governance documents, and onboarding materials.
Visibility matters because it creates accountability. A Charter that is signed and filed achieves little. A Charter that is displayed and referenced holds the standard in plain sight.
Embed the disciplines
Signing the Charter is Step 2 of the Implementation Roadmap: Declare. Steps 3 to 6 (Embed, Challenge, Reinforce and Cascade) are where the real work happens: embedding the disciplines into leadership routines, governance, and organisational culture so they hold under pressure.
That work, embedding what the Charter commits to, is available as structured support on resolvetolead.com.
